That was it! Changed the CA to CF and it worked! I had always
thought CA and CF were interchangeable. I will not forget this one :)

How do you have the function key defined in the DDS? CF or CA?

The CF returns the values from the screen and CA does not.

I think I have those right.

I have a screen with 2 input/output screens. I enter a value on
the first one, then prompt the second (F4). A window appears for the
prompt, but there is no value in the first field. I put a breakpoint
immediately after the EXFMT and the value is blank. If I press enter,
everything is ok. How can I retain the value when prompting the other
field?
