Thanks Jon, yes a known file.

In this case though you appear to be building the null map for a known
file - so why not just use Extname with the *null option and have the
compiler generate the list you want?

000207 dcl-ds myF1Null extname('ORDD30WF1':*NULL) end-ds ;
======> aaaaa
*RNF3348 20 a 000207 The parameter for keyword EXTNAME is not valid.


I tried this, won't compile. Do you have to be at 7.3? We are at 7.2.
(got off my *ss to look for myself <g>)

Yeah, 7.3 shows the *null option, 7.2 does not . . I'll have to wait till
Q1 2019 when we go der. :-)
