Hi Booth, just recently I did the DIY webserver and got it working.

Are you sure that QTMHHTTP has *RX  authority to the states directory?

Using Scott Klement's slide show presentation as a guide, I have added a web services DIY entry to an existing and functioning Apache server on the iSeries.   This includes adding a ScriptAlias for "/states" and a <Directory> entry with "Allow from all" to the config file.

The message I am getting is "

Forbidden - by rule.

You do not have permission to access /states on this server."

which I believe is telling me it's there, it all may work, but I am not logged on to the machine so don't have permission.  So... how do I either allow anyone, or ask for sign-on/password?
