I have a basic ILE tutorial here that shows how input output and return
parms go.

https://www.fieldexit.com/forum/display?threadid=154

Basically parms can be input and our output, but returning is something
different.

We want to do:
a + b = c

We can do it this way (not my favorite):
#addNumbers(a:b:c)

or

c = #addNumbers(a:b)

If that makes sense...

This seems straight forward but is it? The RPG world has gone places I
never imagined.

I want to use PR/PI for the parameter(s) needed as input for a program,
right?

But what about the return parameter(s)?
