When debugging a service job (STRSRVJOB) F3 always continued on for me.
But definitely when running on my 5250 session F3 always stopped the
program running.

Maybe it's some bug introduced lately, we're at 7.2, with latest PTF's (i
assume).
Can't imagine this being the case.

However, it's very unpractical.

I had noticed this too and thought I was just remembering incorrectly.
Usually I debug in RDi, but recently I was using the green screen
debugger. I pressed F3 thinking to end the current program and the
program
continued on.

Subject: STRDBG: F3 doesn't stop program

Hi,

I'm using STRDBG to debug an ILE program. I expect the program to stop
running when i press F3. Instead, the program continues until the end, as
if F12 has been pressed.

I don't remember to have this problem before. But at the current client
the debugger does not stop with F3.

Has anybody else have this issue? Is it a setting somewhere (can't
imagine
why).
