Booth expected it to be simpler than he was making it. So I just tried to show him what is involved; maybe that will push him in the direction of a framework :-)

And that is also the reason why it is so dead simple to create a REST service using other programming language because all the difficult things are handled for you. You don't have to look out for all the pitfalls. It has been done for you. And we can do the same. There is no reason we cannot do it. We just have to start doing it.
