I don't think the VT APIs are going to be a good way for you to do
this. These APIs require you to code the 5250 protocol yourself, which
requires a lot of in-depth knowledge of the internals of the 5250 protocol.
If you need to just write a program to automate keying data on 5250
screens, I would suggest Albert York's TNAPI utility, it is a much
simpler way.
