Scott,
Speaking for myself, I'd like to see it to compare it against what Carsten
has
done. He provided me/us with a comprehensive version that does a
tremendous amount
of work. It's very complete and yet not meant for simpletons like myself.
I've been studying it and it has opened a whole new world for me to
explore.
So yes, having your updated version would be most appreciated and
educational.

Thanks for the offer!

Hi Bill and everyone else,

Sorry, I have been away (on a cruise in the Caribbean) I was not
intentionally ignoring you :-)

The MD5 command (and MD5R4 CPP) is a very old example. I'd be happy to
update it to use the system APIs and support other hash algorithms. Is
there a need for this? I see that Carsten has already offered and
example, and others have suggested using the openssl tool in PASE.

Do you still want/need this?

Hi All,

I've a need to either change or find a program that does what Scott
Klement's program MD5R4
that creates a SHA1 hash to SHA256. Anybody know what can be done with
Scott's program
to make it work?
