Good News Everybody!

All you have to remember Jon is that in all (or at least the vast majority of) cases - the fundamental format and sequence for free form is basically the same as that of fixed. The basic sequence is:

dcl-x
name
other stuff from fixed columns
option keywords.

So your F spec becomes:

Dcl-F PayMastMPL Template; // Disk, external and Input are defaults and so are omitted

Dcl-F PayMastMPL Disk(*Ext) Usage(*Input) Template; // Is the literal translation with all elements specified.

I have tried searching for TEMPLATE RPG FREE and I think that because of
the keywords, I am not finding anything relevant

I am trying to convert the following statement to free format:

FPAYMASTMPLIF E DISK TEMPLATE

Has anyone done this, is so, can you share ?
