RE: %XFoot a DS array

Maybe it's just the end of a long day, but this confuses me. I meant to try it before I left work today but didn't get to it.

What is "array"? There is no data type. How does "num" get translated to a 100 element array? It looks like a single int(5).

Nope - but this works as it does at most any release.

Dcl-ds x;
array dim(100);
num int(5) overlay(array);
end-ds;

dcl-s tot int(10);

tot = %Xfoot(num);
