Unused prototypes have zero impact on the program size. They are
simply scanned by the compiler and subsequently ignored.

The only potential size impact is If you chose the LISTING or ALL
options for debug data - in which case the size of the stored
program object is larger but there is still zero impact on run tie
memory footprint.


The prototype, itself, yes. However, if the prototype parameters
use LIKE or LIKEDS then the referenced data names are considered "used"
and therefore go into the cross-reference and any associated storage
requirements are allocated into the object size.
