In starting over I looked at Scott's example, STOCKQTY. In the
documentation are these lines:
* To compile:
*
*> CRTSQLRPGI OBJ(STOCKQTY) OBJTYPE(*MODULE) -
*> RPGPPOPT(*LVL2) DBGVIEW(*SOURCE)
*
*> CRTPGM PGM(STOCKQTY) MODULE(STOCKQTY) ACTGRP(KLEMENT) -
*> BNDSRVPGM(YAJL YAJLR4 QHTTPSVR/QZHBCGI)
*
*> DLTMOD STOCKQTY
*
which I have seen nowhere else. Is it possible that I need to
incorporate these compile instructions?

I started over, at the beginning. At this moment I am suspicious that
compiling the program is more than adding YAJL and SYSTOOLS to the
library list & then PDM's 14.
