Hello Scott,

It was actually an error in my PHP script .. a missing semicolon.....

A simple error but just difficult to identify as you get no indication of
the cause of the error..

Whatever .. it's working now.

Thanks againg for your time.

Regards

Sean,

You really haven't provided any helpful information. Aside from your "cut
and paste error" (which you posted twice this morning) we really don't have
any information about the problem.

If the program is sending any errors, calling the READ opcode (possibly in a
loop) should retrieve them info your program; Are you doing that?
What does it say?

If you run this exact same code using the STRQSH command-line tool, what
does it say?

Have you double checked that you have the right PATH? (It is different from
the one we have -- but it may be that we are running a different version of
Zend, or we installed ours differently.)

Hello Scott,

Thank you for your reply .. but that was not really the issue..

Sadly a cut and paste error on my side .. this is the actual line
content

cmd = 'PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/Zendphp7/bin && +

iconv -f 37 -t 819 | +

php-cli /www/zendphp7/htdocs/eiresoft/eontest1.php';

any idea why it is failing ..

When I run a phpinfo() on my browser from the same location.. it works
fine ..
