If you read the brochure-ware at low-code vendor sites, they don't put it
that way. But the fact is, yes to a large degree, you're adapting an
existing application to all sorts of existing databases.

Managers have explained to me that all they need to run their
department/company is Excel & Word.


Perhaps in small companies where all the accounting is done by one person.

The context for this discussion is enterprise-class applications, including
an enterprise-class DBMS (IBM i DB).
