@Rob - Thanks for the advise of not hard coding the IP address and rather
using the host name. I tried a test and where the IP had worked the host
name does not work
I'm looking at "Why do I get java.sql.SQLException: "Network error
IOException: Connection refused: connect" when trying to get a

@Luis - The default port for jtds is 1433.
@Larenzo - When I attempted a test switching from using the IP address to
the host table entry it failed. See @Rob.
I'm doing more research to see where the error is...
