Sql has a lot easier way to access resources on the web, its functions

are powerful enough to access and consume data from many sources.

As Kevin points out, I am providing the web service not consuming it in
this case. What I was missing was where to configure allowing HTTPS from
client connections. Kevin helped with that too.
