It most certainly would, and explains why if you have multiple exports
the service program is only showing the one.

I know the binder will search the binding directory for a
matching service program name. So, I would think that it could get the
previous signature from the previous version of the service program. If
you're not using a binding directory then that may be part of the
problem, too.
