Exported functions in service programs. You can't name them starting
with the %, but for example in our shop all inhouse functions(bifs) are
prefixed with a #. Nothing else in our system starts with that
character. We have a standard binding directory, and just have to copy
in the prototype for the particular service program with the function.

We end up with something like this in the code:
PatName = #Upper(imp_last_name);

Subject: Is there a way to make %pbif's (Personal built in functions)?

Is there a way to make %pbif's (Personal built in function)? Maybe a
%%MyBIF()?

I suspect I know the answer. It seems like a natural addition but I
don't see how to do it.
