I have a sheet with calculations. If the value is negative make it red and bold. Sounds easy I thought.
Well, it's easy if you cheat. Instead of writing a conditional
formatting rule, I actually format each of the cells. Doesn't much help
the user with 'what-if' scenarios, but it works for the snapshot sort of
things we've been doing to date.
For those following along, I think we're talking about
XSSFConditionalFormatting and XSSFConditionalFormattingRule
