The focus is specific problem solving, resource generation for open
source projects that run on IBM i. And yes, there is a line blurring
going on because something like calling the POI routines to create a
spreadsheet from RPG would be a valid post in the RPG list and the Open
Source list because POI is open source. An open source RPG program like
GETiPTF would be fair game as well. but my guess is that posts will be
more along the lines of using Python, Node, Ruby, PHP and others on IBM
i. Yes, I get that WEB400 covers many of the same issues so again,
there may be overlap.

The goal is to be able to give some visibility to the open source
efforts that are ongoing in the IBM i space. There could well be some
*NIX utilities that are complementary to the IBM i command line that
could be discussed. PASE issues would fall into this space.

Hopefully it won't confuse things but if it does, we'll deal with it.

Would you please explain a bit more about this list? I am thinking there is likely more to it than I realize.

Thanks Pete.

Since "Open Source" can span multiple lists, I am cross-posting to the
RPG and Web lists. I meant to have David get this going sooner.
