RE: Reading LDAP

We also use LDAP to read data from active directory and in our windows configuration the user I use to connect to the MS LDAP server has to be authorized to the OUs use in Active Directory. Could it be that the groups you are referring to are actually in a different OU and the user you are connecting as is not authorized to that new OU?

I have a RPG program that I have used for years to read LDAP(Microsoft) Based on this, I create reports that are used for annual user reviews.

I now have the situation where there are groups(or subfolders) in the LDAP. For Instance there is a group(AUDIT) that contains several users that are outside auditors)

My program doesn't pick up these groups/users and I really have no idea how to, or even if it is possible to read these .

Any idea how I can force the program to read these

I use SamAccountName=* for the filter
