PM:
I have a RPG program that I have used for years to read LDAP
(Microsoft) Based on this, I create reports that are used for
annual user reviews.

I now have the situation where there are groups(or subfolders) in
the LDAP. For Instance there is a group(AUDIT) that contains
several users that are outside auditors)

My program doesn't pick up these groups/users and I really have no
idea how to, or even if it is possible to read these .

Any idea how I can force the program to read these

I use SamAccountName=* for the filter

Do you have the scope of your search set as LDAP_SCOPE_SUBTREE ?
If so, have you tried the following to see how many entries you are
getting back in the LDAP search result?

eCount = ldap_count_entries(ldap_conn: ldap_result);

Sincerely,

Dave Clark
