Learn Python The Hard Way is usually what gets pointed to. I've been
about 1/2 through the course, and that got me good enough to where I
just look stuff up when I need to. Not really doing anything on the
iSeries yet just because I haven't had anything needed it, but I've
switched most of my scripting in linux from perl to python now.

At some point after I had stopped doing the free lessons, I went ahead
and paid the $29 as I got at least that much out of it.

Or if there is a python book geared towards an RPPGer that would be
nice.

Found this reference from a 2013 J.Y. post when i was investigating the
other night (and some others too) -
http://archive.midrange.com/rpg400-l/201310/msg00446.html
So the path to using Python on the i is (1) learn Python on Windows,
Linux, or Mac, (2) install iSeriesPython on your i, (3) profit!

Any links would be welcome.

Thanks,

John
