You've always been able to do that.

Just use a KLIST that has only the first 2 fields defined.

Sounds like there's a mismatch in the field definitions.

That is not allowed when using KLIST or %KDS().

You don't have to worry about size when using literals in the a free format
SETLL/READEQ.

Hi Hotel (sorry - cannot see a name)
This is still available - well at least on V5r4
This usually means exactly what it says
What is the second key defined as and what is the definition of the field
that you are using to access the file?
Generally speaking - neither field has the same definition as each other

Subject: SETLL question

If a logical has 3 fields as keys, I want to setll on the first 2.

I thought this was allowed but I am getting error:
*RNF7073 30 1 Length of KFLD is not equal to corresponding key field
in
file.

I just need to read one record of an order because they all have the order
type.

I need to prevent an F3 if there is a certain order type.
