actually don't know of ANY commands that give a status *while* it is
doing something.

You issue the command, it does the copy. You don't find out anything
until after it's done.

If you mean it generates log entries, well, you can easily adjust that.

And don't forget that Qshell and PASE are specifically geared toward
working in the IFS, so oftentimes they are a better choice than CL.
