The WRKJVMJOB command can be used to see all sorts of information about the various JVMs running in various jobs on the system.

Run WRKJVMJOB, place a 5 next to the job that you want to learn about, and it'll say the JDK version and whether it's 64/32 bits at the top of the screen. You'll have options to display all sorts of other things (JVM arguments, environment variables, Java system properties, garbage collection, threads, etc.)

I don't remember which release of IBM i added this command. I know it works on 7.2 and 7.1, but I don't have access to older releases anymore, but maybe it was there on 5.4? Worth a try.

I see the JVM in the job log.

The job log does not show which path is being used. Is there a simple way to
determine if the CLASSPATH was loaded correctly or to see what path is being
used?

This is a V5.4 system.
