A while back (maybe a year by now, I don't recall), I pursued every
contact I could think of including tracing down support for the domain
registration. I finally reached someone at Penton who apologized that my
account didn't get properly authorized to the "new" forums. They
authorized me and I then could read existing posts. But I still couldn't
fully participate in the forum (e.g., make new posts, etc.). Once I sign
in, I could no longer select a specific forum. When signed out, I could
select a specific forum, but I couldn't see anything in the forum as I
wasn't authorized. I couldn't search the forums successfully. I tried to
reach out to the contact I had previously made, but never got a response.
The total lack of support motivated me to delete the bookmark. It's
disappointing they don't even give what I would qualify as "lip-service"
to supporting the platform anymore. It was a great resource, but it's
gone.

I just checked the iProDeveloper website and I couldn't find anything
posted since March 2014. Bones: "I think he's dead Jim."

Re: iprodeveloper.com rpg forum

I agree!

Almost noone knows about these new forums, Penton isn't even linking to
them from the iProDeveloper.com site. It's hard to tell if they want
people to use them or not?

It's probably better to just use code400.com, Midrange.com, IBM's Cafe
forums, etc. Like you said, Henrik, why stick with an organization
that's almost completely abandoned our platform?

Well, I ended up in a more or less empty forum :-(
