Hi, Brad:

You could do it like this:

FMYPRTFILE O F 132 PRINTER OFLIND(*INOF)

For an "externally described" printer file, I think you need to define it in the DDS source for the file.

I'm having a major brain malfunction this morning. :)

I haven't created a Printer File from scratch for years but now I have to.
I created it, added an F spec to my RPG program, declared it as:

FMYPRTFILE O E PRINTER

I'm seeing that *INOF isn't being declared at compile time like I assumed
it would. I know I'm missing something from somewhere to make that happen.
:)

OFLIND(*INOF) doesn't work either.

"The parameter for keyword OFLIND is not valid; keyword is ignored."

When using OFLIND you have to specify *IN01-*IN99 and manually reset it to
off as well.

All other programs I've done with external printer files don't have OFLIND
either. INOF magically appears during compile.

This is on V6R1 as well. TIA!

Brad
