Given the parameters

why does it do this?
value = %STR(%ADDR(tempIn));
tempI=%DEC(value:7:2);
and this?
%STR(%ADDR(tempOut):10)=tempOut;
As I recall, %STR() is used to convert C-style null-terminated strings
to RPG strings.
So what's it doing here?
