Note that the use of the DATE() function on a timestamp column
Date(Modify_Time)
means that the system won't be able to use a regular index over
Modifiy_Time...

At minimum, you're forcing a full index scan but more likely is a full
table scan.

If the table is large enough for that to be a concern, either compare
timestamp to timestamp or consider adding derived-key index (if on 6.1 +)
create index myidx on mytbl (Date(Modify_Time))
