So long as your function is written as an SQL stored proc (or wrapped with one) you should be able to execute it as you would any SQL statement:
Exec sql call SQLStoredProcWrappingFunction;

Subject: RPG functions in Service Programs access used in SQL
Has anyone accessed a function (not necessarily written in RPG) in a service program in SQL? If so, how did you make the connection between the function and SQL? I am thinking I need to create a function in SQL that calls the function in the service program. I am planning on using the CREATE FUNCTION SQL command for this.
Has anyone else done this, or are there other, better ways of allowing SQL to access service program functions.
