One of our coldfusion guys threw something together to download a csv file
from the workday (cloud?) web service in a few minutes. Code similar to
below -
<cfhttp url="
https://yadda/yadda/somethingsomething/RPT_MyCsvFile?format=csv"
username="theusername"
password="thepassword"
result="downloadedFile"
multipart="true">
<cffile action="write" file="C:\inetpub\wwwroot\temp\webService
\RPT_MyCsvFile.csv" output="#downloadedFile.filecontent#">
Is this doable in RPG or using Scott Klement's httpapi??
I have used httpapi before to get weather from wunderground
and display results on the screen but that uses http, not https.
I know there are some examples having to do with https in the httpapi
library but have never tried them.
