Vern, apparently raw .xml, the template file they sent opens and is readable in notepad.
And, after reading some xml-into stuff, it looks like that is more for parsing
than populating. Yes, a cgidev2 solution is growing, slowly in the back of my mind.

Do they want the raw XML? Not compressed? Or, as another post asked, do they want the XLSX?
If the raw XML, you could set up the layout for use with CGIDEV2 - very simple to write--
the stuff that way from RPG.
