Note, IIRC the MAPFIELD keyword can be used in the DDS to map 0001-01-01 to
*blanks on the screen and vice versa.

This confuses me because a dump shows the control record date field as:

C1DDATFR DATE(10) '0001-01-01'

DDS has C1DDATFR defined as "Data type L"

We're seriously past that born-on date, but I thought "*LOVAL" would be
ok ?
