"For "never ending" jobs that do a delay, I personally prefer to NOT see CMD-DLYJOB.
I use a wait on a data queue entry against a data queue created in QTEMP.
By putting the data queue into QTEMP, you have now isolated it entirely from "external forces".
This would cause some problems if you ever wanted to extend its function across jobs, or have it respond to data inserted into the data-queue.
In this case, I think your QTEMP-data-queue is overkill, and the DLYJOB command would be more clear if that is all that is happening here.
