Add one more vote to that. It is a feature of PHP that I would love to see in RPG. In fact in PHP you have to explicitly say _which_ globals you want to access.

In keeping with this thread I have long wanted a CONST AND I MEAN IT option which would always pass a pointer to a copy - regardless of whether type/size match.
