You can always do a DSPFFD to a file, read this file, construct the DDS line and write it to a source member.

DSPFFD FILE(YOURLIB/YOURFILE) OUTPUT(*OUTFILE) OUTFILE(YOURLIB/DSPFFDFILE)

read YOURLIB/DSPFFDVILE, construct a DDS line based upon what you read and write it to a source member.
