As I remember, I looked at the manual and was
confused enough that I put it "out of mind",
but with your collective comments, I may
revisit -

"system housekeeping activities", however,
does not give me a warm fuzzy...

a file on the target IFS, by way of the QNTC.

We do FTP between iSeries, but I am looking for an alternate.

If anyone is doing this in a production mode, I would appreciate any
comments/advice you would like to share.
