Alan,
Could you give me an example if this is my binder source:

STRPGMEXP PGMLVL(*CURRENT) SIGNATURE('MYMATH')
EXPORT SYMBOL('ADD')
EXPORT SYMBOL('SUBTRACT')
EXPORT SYMBOL('MULTIPLY')
EXPORT SYMBOL('DIVIDE')
ENDPGMEXP

I now what to add an additional entry called "SPECIAL"

Sort of. Each time that you add new procedures, you make a copy of the
current procedures in the binder source and rename it to *PRV. You then
add
your new procedures to the end and you will now have two signatures. If
you
do again, you will have three signatures.

I used the wrong term, sorry Alan. I will do 50 pushups for my mistake
:)

As a followup, I can add additional procedures without screwing up the
signature provided that I add them to the binder file, prototype file,
procedure source at the bottom, and never change the order of the
procedures.

am I correct in that understanding?

Not modules, procedures. Your modules should be exporting procedures.
You
list in the binder only the procedures that you want seen on the
outside
world.

When creating the binder file, if I'm understanding this part
correctly,
the only modules that are listed are of course those that will be
"exported" or exposed for external use correct?
