Hi Rob,

Fyi, %trim defaults to trimming only blanks, but can be made to trim any characters, e.g. %trim(myVar : x'4000') will trim leading and trailing blanks (x'40') and nulls (x'00'). Same for %triml and %trimr.

I'm not sure when this was introduced, but I'm guessing v5r4.
