I also posted this on Java400-L

Ultimately I'm trying to get the ExtractText method to work.

Could I run the JAVA command from a CL with something like this?

JAVA CLASS('/JavaPDF/pdfbox-1.6.0.jar') PARM('ExtractText /myfile/cons.pdf
/myfile/cons.txt')


I tried it and received an error that the program exited with exit code 1.
I see this strange error in the joblog

Public write authority on "< F/pdfbox-1.6.0.jar".

The docs for ExtracText are:
ExtractText

This application will extract all text from the given PDF document.

usage: java -jar pdfbox-app-x.y.z.jar ExtractText [OPTIONS] <PDF file> [Text
file]
