Re: RNF7416 on EVAL statement

I am getting an 'RNF7416 Type of the right and left side do not match in
the EVAL operation',  error on the following EVAL statement.

C              '-'           scan      sizeall       endc

C     *in30              ifeq      '1'


C                             z-add     1             startc
2 0

C                             eval      thckmindec =
%subst(szdia1:startc:endc)

Field 'SZDIA1' is defined in the input file.

I was hoping someone can give me some help on the reason why.
