The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

Apparently things go haywire
when you omit this parameter (the documentation says that the fifth
parameter is required when using O_TEXT_CREAT, but it does not say what
happens if you omit it).
Chances are there was a valid pointer on the stack in the fifth position and whatever value it points to is being used. You could find out by having your own routine that looks for 5 parms and pass it the same 4 you are currently using and insert that call at the point where the open() is currently. Debug will show you what is being used.
