The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
I've used it on v6.1 & v7.1 without any issues. If you want to see the
working code the work with selected spooled files & delete selected
spooled files command you can download from my website both use that API
as well as the other list APIs. The WRKSPL command actually makes use of
the sorting functionality and would be a better example for you.

Why? The QGYOLSPL api is just for that type of purpose (it's the
backbone
of WRKSPLF, etc.)
Tommy,
I agree with your assessment that the QGYOLSPL api provides additional
function over the QUSLSPL api. In our particular case I would like to
take advantage of those additional capabilities.
During my "Google'ing" phase I believe I ran across some of your code
using QGYOLSPL. I take it you were able to use the api without any
similar errors? Have you used it on V6R1?
Thanks,
Mike Garrison
