There's processor, memory, and disk I/O. I would suspect most RPG
programs performance issue would be with disk I/O.

That being understood however there are a few tools you can use. iNav,
which comes free with the os, has some charts which will show you all of
the above metrics and more. It's part of the Management Central area of
iNav. Now if you just want to spend money you can get the IBM performance
tools 57##PT1 product.
There's also something called Job Watcher. Which, at 6.1 and above, is
included with the OS.
