Richard,
I was always told that the data access components are NOT CHARGEABLE features, whereas other parts of "Client Access" like PC5250 and IBM I Navigator are chargeable features.
I don't think the data access components require anything... They can be installed on their own.

You can use the IBM Client Access .Net Data provider, OLEDB or ODBC, but they DO require Client Access.
