My apologies for the almost telegraphic nature of my previous posts. Just
have been trying to do several things at once and I am not that good at
multitasking anymore :-)

This code should work:

D my_array        S             80    Dim(100)
D num_entries     S              3S 0
D n               S              3S 0
 /Free
   my_array(1) = '1';
   my_array(2) = '2';
   my_array(3) = ' ';
   my_array(4) = '4';
   num_entries = 4;

   n  =  %LOOKUP(' ':my_array: 1: num_entries) ;
   IF n <> 0;
     // There is a blank element on the array, in position n ...
   ENDIF;
   *inlr = *on;

 /End-Free
