Good News Everybody!

Please report any problems to david (at) midrange.com.

The problem with STRPCCMD is that the command length is limited
to 123 bytes. Users will be drilling down through several
directories to get to a file to open. I will need to store the
entire path to the file. They also use some quite long names
such as:

W:\Southeast Region\REALLY LONG FOLDER NAME\Marketing Scheduled
Items\Enhanced M-Wall- low profile base, plus price, & detaiBIll's
sample sell sheet with my translation.pdf

Well over the 123 byte limit.

These directory paths will be stored in a physical file.

Is there an equivalent of ShellExecuteA that can be run from an RPGIV
