The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

Okey joe,
here is a simple number of parameters to a singe method/subprocedure in OO

Do you wish to pass them to a subprocedure in RPGLE ?
Henrik, I was AGREEING with you.
And yes, I pass those sorts of things to RPG all the time. In EGL I
would define two records, one for the basic field information and one
for the optional renderer. EGL can then handle arrays of those things.
The same would happen in Java or JavaScript. When I call the RPG code,
I write the program to handle a single record and then call it in a
loop, once for each instance.
To summarize: I use a data structure between RPG and the web server. I
use JSON between the web server and the UI. I use XML between the web
server and an outside consumer.
