If you want a generic way to solve this problem this is how I would
approach it.

I would create a 1 char field and move through the addresses from Pointer
to (Pointer+Size) 1 by 1 and check each if <> '' to see if it is a number.
If you find a blank between 2 numbers I would think that it would also
then be considered invalid.

Something along those lines....

Validate Numeric Data






Given a pointer and size, is there a way to find out if the data at that
address is valid numeric data? Could be packed or zoned and I suppose
integer also.
